Independence Day 2020
This year the weather gods, inasmuch as they exist, were not being kind to us. Saturday was supposed to be wet, cold and quite windy at times. To make a bad situation worse, the Coronavirus regulations made it difficult for us to change arrangements at such short notice. For this reason the board of our club has decided to postpone tomorrow’s party.
The Germans have a saying “aufgehoben ist nicht aufgeschoben”, which roughly translates with “postponed does not mean cancelled”.
The new date for our Independence Day celebrations is: Saturday, July 25th.
