Mulled Cider (Grandma Tucker's recipe) |

| 2l | apple cider |
| 1/8 cup |
brown sugar |
| 1/2 tsp. | whole allspice |
| 1 tsp. | whole cloves |
| 1 | cinnamon stick |
| 1/4 tsp. | salt |
| 1 pinch |
ground nutmeg |
| 1 | orange (quartered with peel) |
| Directions Heat cider in large heavy saucepan (do not boil). Add brown sugar and stur until dissolved. Add remaining ingredients and allow to seep for at least 15 minutes. Remove from heat and serve. |
